  • The Library of Virginia
    The Library of Virginia is one of the oldest agencies of Virginia government, founded in 1823 to preserve and provide access to the state's incomparable printed and manuscript holdings. Their collection, which has grown steadily through the years, is the most comprehensive resource in the world for the study of Virginia history, culture, and government.
  • Mountain Valley Charitable Foundation
    The mission of the Mountain Valley Charitable Foundation is building better community for eastern Montgomery County. MVCF coordinates programs and activities at The Meadowbrook Center. They provide scholarships to area high school graduates and fund initiatives to assist low-income families, such as the area food pantry.
  • Literacy Volunteers of the New River Valley
    The mission of the Literacy Volunteers of the New River Valley is to provide free, confidential, one-to-one educational tutoring to help low-literacy adults (non-readers or those who read below a fifth grade level) to meet their self determined literacy goals and to help those whose native language is not English to communicate in English.
