Book Lover's Valentine

Adults and teens are invited to join our Book Lover's Valentine Drawing. Come to the Library any day from February 1 to 13 to write your favorite book on a Valentine at the circulation desk and receive a Valentine treat in exchange. A drawing will be held on February 14 to select the grand prize winner

Free AARP Tax Prep. Assistance
February 12, 10am & 2pm @ Meadowbrook
March 13, 10am & 2pm @ Meadowbrook
Meadowbrook Public Library hosts the AARP Tax Aide Program. IRS trained tax volunteers assist citizens with their personal tax returns for 2009. This is intended primarily for seniors and low-income individuals/families. Bring last year's tax returns, W-2s and 1099s, and a photo ID. No businesses returns will be prepared. Assistance is given by appointment (and on a walk-in basis if time allows.) Please call the library at 268-1964 to reserve a time.
